The apartment was comfortable in a rustic sort of way and had a great view over the bay to the south of Fiskardo where some super yachts anchor at night adding a little festival of lights to the scene. The kitchen and the bathroom were compact but both functional. Generally, the room was clean and the hotel had a great location to access the village but not be disturbed by its noise.

-PART 2- and free parking on site. ⚫ Basic, old-school greek accommodation, rustic, humble, nothing too fancy or overly modernized, but spotlessly clean, individual apartments & studios with their rough-cast walls and high wooden ceilings, A/C, fully equipped kitchen (cooker, hob, fridge, toaster, kettle, oven etc), traditional raised platform beds, safety deposit box and large private verandas with stunning sea view.. ⚫ Moreover, if you appreciate knowing that our team is constantly making sure that, nothing will disturb your peace, besides a short (70metres) but steep uphill driveway -making it perhaps taxing for a person with special needs. Still, necessary to ensure peacefulness, quietness and breathtaking sea views from every veranda, while being conveniently close to Fiscardo center, then think no further! We, at Kaminakia, are more then happy to honour you as our guest! ⚫ The rest, is up to you... You can either head for the pool, or go snorkeling at the sea right underneath, or perhaps put on your hiking boots and explore one of the many footpaths, or take a delightful 15 minute stroll to Fiscardo centre where all restaurants, bars, super markets & souvenir shops are located, or... just relax! -PART 1- Kaminakia is and has always been a proud family business. My name is Yorgos and I like to hike, swim, read and meditate. I have chosen to live on the island all-year round. I love peace, quietness and sincerity. Besides the peacefulness and breathtaking scenery which is freely provided by the island, these are also among the qualities we strive to provide here at Kaminakia. ⚫ I love the way the faces of our guests slowly change, as they're turning into a more peaceful and contented version of themselves and as the days go by, most of our friends intuitively start smiling even more, walking slower, talking softer, willingly captivated by the rejuvenating meditative atmosphere of the place. ⚫ On that note, if your dream holiday is a vibrant and expressive all-night party, absolutely nothing wrong with that and we'd be more than happy to recommend another accommodation in the area, but Kaminakia is probably not the place which would suit your needs. ⚫ If you, like ourselves, can appreciate a serene, quiet and soothing atmosphere... Combined with a welcoming and refreshing large swimming pool equipped with free of charge loungers and sun umbrellas, free Wi-Fi in all public spaces and around the swimming pool area, although a bit feeble inside the apartments (despite our best efforts, heavy building materials and general architecture weakens considerably indoor connectivity), book exchange scheme/lending library,

And there are times when even that, just fades away... ⚫ Now... imagine for a moment, being surrounded by clear blue skies, deep-green cypress trees and crystalline turquoise waters. Thyme and sage scented slopes and wild heather mountainsides back in the distance, an old abandoned donkey trail up ahead, where hikers occasionally pass by and more often goats graze peacefully. Perhaps you can already hear their bells tingling. Right underneath your feet a cute little cove, its Ionian turquoise waters welcoming you, out in the distance the island of Ithaca. Maybe you can already feel the sea breeze on your face, the vibrant sun on your hands, the scent of wild oregano and basil on your nostrils, travelling among the garden's lemon and orange trees before entering through your veranda doors, then blending with the scent of fresh linen and the dried wild lavender from your wardrobe.
