The situation and view were superb. The owner was extremely helpful. A short stroll to Tavernas in the village. Quiet roads to explore. Great walking and swimming everywhere nearby.

KZ bay is a secluded and stunning corner of paradise, and KTP offers affordable and fully functional facilities to enjoy it at its best. Uphill and about 10 minutes walking to the beach and tavernas, KZP is set in secured green surroundings and offers unforgettable views of the bay, the minoan palace and the gorge. The air-conditioned and spotless clean studio was comfortable, complete of cooking appliances and had a large private terrace. We were warmly welcomed again by George the owner who showed us around the incredibly clean and well equipped studio. He also gave us some delicious homemade cake before leaving us to settle in. The accommodation has stunning views of the bay and Gorge of the Dead. Our studio had a lovely large terrace which was really peaceful and we spent many hours just enjoying the view. During our 4 days there we visited Xerokampos beach and sampled the local restaurants at Kato Zakros, before moving onto Kouremenos for the rest of our holiday. On our last day George very kindly let us have a late check out which was much appreciated. We are planning another trip next year and I’m sure that we will go back to the Kato Zakros Palace Apartments for the fourth time as we had such a good time there.

Beautiful apartment, comfortable and very calm. The location is excellent if you want a quiet holiday. The beach & sea are walking distance and the apartment has an amazing position and view. Very close also to a beautiful and famous archaeological site. The old village of Zarkos is also nice but it’s a hew kms away. No doubt you need a car to move around in the area but it is worth it

This is a well presented room with everything I needed with a perfect terrace from which to admire the view. George is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, and each room is positioned to capture the view while still maintaining a feeling of privacy. An easy walk down to the tavernas at the beach for dinner, only a few minutes away. I think these apartments have the best panoramic views in Kato Zakros. I stayed for three nights, next time I'll stay longer.

Lovely studios set on the hillside giving a panoramic view of the bay. Very friendly owner who provided grapes and figs from his beautiful gardens. The studio was spacious and with large private balcony at the front and a small one at the rear. The studio was spotlessly clean and the cleaner was extremely good. Even though the accommodation was well occupied during our visit, it always had a quiet and relaxing feel. The beach tavernas were only a 5-10min walk down the the hill, all serving excellent food, the slow stroll back to the studios afterwards a joy taking in the beautiful night sky. Ideally located to walk the Gorge and visiting remains of the Minoan Palace direct from studios. Fully recommend these studios for total relaxation. Car recommended
