We had the most amazing stay at Mikro Livadi. The rooms are big and have everything you need, the breakfast was incredible with loads of local food every morning and a beautiful pool. We stayed for dinner 1 evening too and had a lovely evening the best part though was Angeliki and Anastasia who could not have done any more for us! They were the most wonderful people, who made sure we had an amazing time

Words can not describe! This is such a wonderful place. Everything about it is just exceptional. The room we had was huge and spacious with a fully equiped kitchen, a seperate bedroom, cosy living room and a huge shower area. There is also a very nice private sitting area around the room to start your morning in. The family who runs the place is so nice and welcoming, you immediately feel part of it. The natural salt water pool was nothing short of amazing and we spent a lot of time around the pool area. Located just 300m from the main road and the beach, location was great and easy to find, having a private parking space is a plus. The in-complex resturant serves home cooked food made intirly of stuff they grow on pramise or buy from local farmers. The food was very good and the prices are... just normal (cheap like the rest of Greece). The surrounding area is as beautiful and wild with some great views all around. We are definatly coming back next year!

There was nothing that we didn't like, the apartment was large, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very quiet. Malamatenia and her family were so kind, welcoming and friendly, the cooking at their restaurant was outstanding with lots of veg and meat from their own farm. They were so welcoming and always had a smile, nothing was too much trouble. The beach is only 5 mins walk with lively tavernas, the area is very pretty, not overrun with too many tourists. Their salt water pool was gorgeous and spotless too with great views of the mountains. It was so relaxing staying at Mikro Livaldi we would definitely go back. Special thanks to Angelica and Anastasia for their kindness, smiles and knowledge of their beautiful island. Had fun at Lake Kournas swimming in the beautiful clear water and diving from the pedalo. We absolutely loved everything about this place, couldnt fault anything.

I very rarely post reviews, but we had such a wonderful time at Mikro Livadi, that I wanted to write in. The lodge is run by a a lovely family, who cook amazing authentic meals and were always attentive to our needs. there was a deep kindness to them that is rare these days especially in the hospitality industry where everything feels so affected. The apartment we stayed in was great, kids loved it too. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is lovely and great to jump into after a long day of sight-seeing or beach time. The beach at a 2 minute drive from the apartments is beautiful and so much more tranquil (and attractive) than the ones in Rethymno. I can't recommend enough!

Everything! A beautiful hotel and a quiet and unique location surrounded by olive groves and just 2 minutes from the beach and main road - though you couldn't hear it one the cicadas! :-) The staff are fantastic and always smiling and happy to help day or night. The new pool is gorgeous.

Fabulous luxury lodge, build under Italian architecture with prime design furniture; fully equipped, with even a dishwasher and a washing machine. Broad, very comfy bed with thick matrass. Independent, fast heating system (not used, it was warm enough). Large living room with large table, a separate kitchen and bedroom. Large veranda. A Nespresso machine packed with cups was awaiting us.

Everything! It’s a place for people who are traveling by car and looking for a wonderful and authentic experience outside of touristic places. So: 1. It’s a perfect location 15 drive from Rethymno and about 1 hour drive from Chania. Beach is 5 minutes walk, wide fully equipped, free in case you buy something from the taverna, where you can have a lunch or dinner. 2. Facilities are very nicely taken care of, spotless clean, spacious, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, safe. 3. Atmosphere and hospitality are on the very high level, 5 minutes after arrival you feel yourself like a family member. Very honest, hardworking and kind family is running the place. You can eat there any time, the quality and size of the portions are exceeding any expectations.

Sehr ruhige und gepflegte Anlage als guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Westen von Kreta. Chania und Rethymnon sind gut erreichbar. Das Appartment ist groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Strand ist in 5min zu Fuß erreichbar, man muss aber die große New Road überqueren, was aber für uns kein Problem war. Am Strand viele kostenfreie Liegen (zu den Lokalen gehörend, die sich natürlich freuen, wenn man bei Ihnen ein paar Getränke oder Essen kauft). Am Besten ist aber die Betreiber-Familie vor Ort. Super herzlich, alle Wünsche werden erfüllt und das Restaurant ist einfach nur super. Beste authentische Kreta-Küche mit frischen Zutaten aus der eigenen Farm. Man fühlte sich schnell wie ein Teil der Familie. So verging die Zeit viel zu schnell und wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub!
