Retreat Paros is a 53 sqm, 1 bed apartment located in a quiet street in the heart of the old town, Parikia. Built in the 1500s this historic apartment is fully renovated following traditional Cycladic architecture, keeping unique aspects of its past and adding modern touches to provide comfort and relaxation to its guests. It offers all essential facilities, a private patio and a top location. It is a 5-min walk from the port and is next to all cafes, shops, restaurants and beaches of Parikia. Retreat Paros is a boutique apartment that offers the feeling of calmness and peacefulness. The arches inside the apartment and the visible pieces of its past make you travel in history while enjoying a very lively location. The private patio with the restored mosaic tiles and the Parian marble becomes one with the apartment once the front door is fully opened and is ideal for your morning coffee or your afternoon cocktail. All furnishing is carefully sourced from local craftsmen and the design aesthetic of the flat is strong.
Retreat Paros is in the heart of Parikia, the capital of the island, known as Paros town or Hora. Parikia is the main port of the island with direct connection to many beaches, Antiparos (only 5 minutes away by boat!) as well as many other islands making it an ideal place to stay as well as an island-hopping destination. Parikia is filled with little streets typical of Cyclades to get lost in and admire the whitewashed buildings and the old mansions. Retreat Paros is next to many shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and taverns, to one of the most important Byzantine churches in Greece, Panagia Ekatontapiliani (Our lady of the Hundred gates) which is must-see monument and next to the old 13th century Frankish castle.
