My name is Georgia Chalkiadaki born and grew up in Rethymno Crete. Pigi is a lovely traditional village just 10 minutes away from the city of Rethymno. There my father grew up in an old house which me and my husband Antonis decided to replace it and build the house of our dreams. Only the well of 17m of depth can now remember that house!!! Me and Antonis had the original and profitable idea to build the first Sportsvilla in Greece inspired from our two loves: the luxury holidays and sports. We are ownres of other 3 villas nearby and we would be happy to host you to any of them! We work together and have three very young children living in a village nearby of Pigi. Pigi, Rethymnon The villa is located in the village of Pigi and its location gives you the advantage of being able to reach all the necessary daily amenities on foot. In the village one can find a few taverns, a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a traditional cafe, as well as a pharmacy. In addition, there is a playground, basketball and soccer fields in the village, very close to the villa. In addition, the nearest sandy beach is only 4 km away and the picturesque old town is only 10 minutes away by car or bus. The village has a bus connection to the city of Rethymnon, as well as to Platanias and Adelianos Kampos, where you can find many organized beaches, night clubs, supermarkets and restaurants (2 - 5 km from the villa)! If you want to travel to Crete, we could advise you on many places around the villa, depending on your interests. Some must-see attractions are: The historic monastery of Arkadi (7 km away), the ancient Eleftherna and Margarites village (16-18 km away) and many more that we will recommend when you arrive at our villa!
