Everything was the best. This lodging is in a quiet, calm place which has a tavern, where they cooking very very good. If you come here, you need to try the tenderloin with staka it was fantastic. The room was very tidy and clean. You can find here everything what is necessary.

We loved the village of Therisso and our lovely welcoming host Maria. At 40 Euro per night we were not expecting anything flash. The room.was big and well appointed with a lovely balcony. Be aware that Therisso is a lunch destination for people on the coast so everything shuts down at 6pm

- Rooms and bathrooms are new, large, nicely decorated and very clean - The accommodation is in a lovely and quiet village in the mountains, which is much more relaxing than the locations on the coast and in summer gets cool at night; I suggest spending some time in the inner part of Crete if you travel around the island as it is as beautiful as the seaside and more authentic - The hosts are very very good people that will welcome you with a smile and a lot of kindness; they even “rescued” me when I got lost in the mountains on the way to the property (tip: there are some off road tracks near Theriso that both Google Maps and iPhone Maps recognise as normal roads while they are not; just stick to the main asphalt road regardless of what your navigator tells you and you will reach your destination very easily and safely) - Under the rooms there is a cafe/restaurant where you can have local tasty food - Great value for money

The accommodation is located up in the mountains in a gorgeous quiet place. It is perfect for anyone who loves hiking, since there is an easy access to the neighboring villages of Zourva, Meskla and Lakkoi. If you go by car, you can also reach Omalos village and even the Samaria Gorge. Chania is just about 12 km from Theriso and can be easily reached by car in 20 minutes through Therisos Gorge. The rooms are exceptionally clean. There is an AC in the room to keep the air cool if it gets too hot and fast wifi that works in the rooms as well as in the common area. There is also a Greek taverna downstairs where they serve delicious local homemade food. The greek salad is one of the best I’ve had in Greece. The owners are very friendly people who always do their best to make the stay exceptional. I would highly reccommend this accommodation to anyone.
