Villa Malena is a five-bedroom Villa, ideal for big families, especially if travelling with kids, as it offers a great choice of several activities one of them being a 5x5 mini soccer field! The Villa conveniently located close to a lovely sandy beach, basic amenities such as restaurants, bakery and super market, as well as the picturesque town of Rethymno. - Pool operates seasonally (end of March - middle of November) - Air conditioning units serve heating purposes.

Villa Malena is located in the picturesque village of Sfakaki which in recent years has evolved into a very popular seaside resort, as it combines all the features for both vacations and permanent accommodation. The village has a wonderful, long, sandy beach, just 10 minutes walking from the villa, which is famous for the fact it is chosen by Caretta Caretta Sea turtle, which is an endangered species, for its reproduction. The beach is also ideal for sunbathing, swimming and water sports! Enjoy the well known greek sun and sea all day long! Sfakaki is special specifically for another reason too: its has a variety of shops such as a super market, a bakery and a pharmacy, that are within hand’s reach. You can taste the well known traditional Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine in the local tavernas and restaurants, have your coffee in one of the many beach bars on the coast or go for a drink in one of the small bars. Also in Stavromenos and Skaleta just 5 minutes away by car, guests will find a butcher shop, an ATM machine and a petrol station. Additionally, its proximity to the highway, makes it easy to move around and travel almost anywhere in Crete and explore the amazing landscape and beautiful rustic villages! It is only 15 minutes’ drive away from the city of Rethymno and 1 hour (70 Kms) from the International Airport of Heraklion.
