Villa Sunrise is situated in a beautiful rural area of central Corfu. It has a fantastic sea view overlooking the mountains of mainland Greece and Albania, perfect for an early morning sunrise, and is surrounded by olive and fruit trees. The villa has its own private access and is secluded and quiet. On a lovely long balcony, enjoy your breakfast or an evening with a glass of wine. Towards the rear is a small garden area, ideal for relaxing and enjoying your book, and for children to play. Villa Sunrise is accessed by a small set of steps from the rear of the property leading to one level, which includes all the available accessible areas.
We are Janet and Costas and owners of Villa Sunrise. We moved to Corfu in 1997. I am originally from the Wirral, Merseyside in the U.K. Costas is originally from mainland Greece, born in Thessaloniki and has a degree in Business Administration, a teaching degree, and a degree in Psychology. Our common interests are Alternative Healing Methods, in particular. We also enjoy reading, walking, farming, travelling and meeting new friends.
The villa is located near Gouvia, and within easy reach of other popular destinations such as Dassia, Ipsos, Corfu Town and Aqualand Water Park. Our location is ideal for those that appreciate a walk in the nature, and great for those that enjoy a cycling holiday. Ideally to reach most destinations easily, a car is required. To reach Gouvia, the nearest resort, or the main road, it will take 20 minutes on foot, and by car less than 5 minutes. From the main road you also have access to the bus routes. Blue buses will take you back and forth to the town or as far as Ipsos. Green buses towards some locations in the north can be accessed from Gouvia area and for other northern directions and the south of Corfu you can find in Corfu town. Taxis are available from Gouvia.
