This was a lovely little house with the three rooms laid out in a good arrangement for a couple with two children on one side and grandparents on the other side of the house. There was a lovely view from the windows and good for birdwatching and animal sightings. Two wood fires made the living room and upstairs nice and cosy. It was easy to walk for bread in the mornings. Location was good for exploring North Pelion.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Access to the rooms is from a different internal staircase, offering additional privacy. The lounge and dining area with fireplace is ideal for hanging out with the cosy atmosphere. There is also an outside area with a table and a BBQ. Comfortable parking, and a very nice view of the Aegean Sea and mountain range with the village of Anilio. Located just 4km from the beach of Agios Saranda, it is generally at a strategic point as it is close to choices for restaurants or activities.
My name is Zoe, which means "Life" in Greek. I was born in the area of Pelion, and was raised in Volos city. I love hiking and nature of Pelion and wish to transfer these tips to our guests. Thank God, our guests may experience a mountain hike in lakes, rivers and mountains, while may find themselves within 10-15min in a beautiful remote or beaches with service.
Makrirachi, the flower village, is situated between the lush slopes of Pelion, where it springs amidst its lush vegetation, and the myth refers to it as the summer residence of the gods of Olympus and the magical land of the Centaurs. The lush vegetation, the flowing waters and the endless beaches compose a unique variety of landscapes and a festival of endlessly charming colors. Following the course to the eastern part of Pelion and 44km from Volos at an altitude of 300 meters we come across Makrirachi, which took its name from the fact that it is built in the middle of the long ridge. So in this lush and cool village on the northeast side of the Centaurs mountain, nature meets tradition. Makrirachi is a unique holiday destination all year round as it combines mountain, just 20 km away. from Agriolefkes ski center, but also sea as it is 3 km from the enchanting beaches of Aghios Saranda and Horefto. Don't forget to take a stroll in the square, in the church of Ag. Ioannis Prodromou, in the center of the village, but also in the chapels of Ag. Constantinos and Elenis
