I rented this house for my parent's anniversary. They were very happy to have a bit of piece and quiet. They spent a very nice day in the surroundings and my mum just loved the fact she could hear the waterfalls from the house. Everything was spotless, and I recommend it to everyone who also wants a little peace and quiet in their life's

Located in the village Poljanak, 8km from Plitvice lakes, you will find the cozy vacation home – Živko. This is the perfect place for family relaxation and a great view of the mountains. During the night you can hear in the distance noise of running water from waterfalls and on clear nights you can spot the milky way. House Živko is fully equipped for all your needs. With a big and spacious terrace looking at the hills in front, one bedroom, one living room, kitchen, and one bathroom will feel like home to you and your family. VACATION HOME DETAILS AND AMENITIES – This rental has enough room for up to 3 people with 35 square meters of living space. You can access the house directly from the private parking lot, made for use just by our guests. The large terrace and yard will be a great fit for relaxation, family time, and my personal favourite - late evening talks while watching the sunset. KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM - Fully equipped kitchen with utensils, pans, pots, microwave, etc. Along with all the appliances you will need for your vacation. The living area is combined with the kitchen. It is a large area combined with comfortable seating and one pull-out couch. The living room has a great view, TV, and perfect access to WiFi. BEDROOM – The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a wardrobe, and a dedicated table for luggage. OTHER NECESSITIES – House Živko has free WiFi, free parking, and a laundry machine. Before your stay, you can request a tour guide for a full tour of the Plitvice Lakes and you will be picked up from the house and driven back in after that. WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT – House Živko is a Croatian family-owned, newly renovated house, with the best views around. Your host will warmly welcome you and make sure you have an amazing and fulfilling stay. All your questions will be answered by the hosts that have been living there all their lives and know the tips and tricks for your perfect stay.

The most popular destination is for sure National Park Plitvice Lakes. Oldest and biggest National park in Croatia and protected under UNESCO since 1979. For any more information feel free to ask, as a tour guide I know quite a bit about the area. In the village next by, just 4 km away, there are many restaurants where you can eat after a long walk in the park. Restaurants Old Shatterhand and Degenija are recommended. Also in the same village, you can find 2 small markets, and for any bigger shopping, you can go to Plitvice Mall. The surroundings around the house are calm and quiet, bird noise is gonna be the only one you will hear.
