Kraljevo Selo is a small village near the town of Bosiljevo in Karlovac County. Far from the city bustle and the road, this is a peaceful oasis of untouched nature and fresh air. Our house is one hour drive from the seaside. The entire house is available for use, as well as the surrounding area: garden, a gazebo with an entire kitchen and entertaining area. This outside kitchen features a barbecue, traditional wood-fired oven, sink, prep area, fridge, large table, and entertainment space. The backyard has another gazebo with a hot tub. The parking is free. The house is equipped with air conditioning. There is a fully-equipped kitchen on the ground floor with a dishwasher and a fridge, a dining area, a living room with a flat-screen TV, fireplace, and a bathroom. The living room offers one sofa bed that accommodates two and one single bed. The bedroom is on the first floor, with two single beds, a work desk, and a balcony with a beautiful view of the woods and nature. You are free to use a floor mattress if you need extra sleeping space. We can also offer a baby crib.
For over 30 years, our family has kept bees and produced organic honey and bee products, such as honey brandy and propolis drops. The bees are close to the cottage and you can try our bee products. The bees are located in the vicinity. We also offer organic fruit and vegetables that you are free to pick yourself (hazelnut and walnut trees grow around the house, as well as untreated apples, pears and blackberries. We promote a farm-to-table philosophy and offer a large garden where you can pick veggies for your meal (in season).
The closest grocery shop is 3 km away, in Bosiljevo. In the summer months you can find refreshment in the nearby rivers Dobra and Kupa, or Mrežnica, which is 14 kilometres away. Lešće, the thermal baths are only 13 kilometres away. The area around our house is full of bicycle trails surrounded by forests. There is also a forest nearby where you can go mushroom foraging in season.
