Fully and nicely restored, house from XVIII century that we named FENIX, is located in the historic part of Motovun, between the two Gothic city gates. It offers cozy accommodation with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV programs. Guests Parking is 200 meters away!

We are people that like travelling! We treat our guests as we like to be treated when we are at somebody else's place! We like to socialize as much as you feel like it. We always have Malvasia and Teran wine and we like to chat over the glass of wine with our guests. But, sometimes, we are just not there. In this case, please: In this case, you will have to take the entrance key from the Lock Box, which is on the wall just left from the entrance door. You will get the code few days before your arrival. Once opened the entrance door, be kind to put immediately the key you have used, back into the Lock Box, by using the same code! Somebody else may need it. The Double Room is on the 1st Floor, right door, the Studio is on the 2d floor! The key you will need during your stay is in your door, along with the entrance key. We appreciate that you leave those keys where you found them, in the same door, when checking out, so the next guest can easily use it.

Mediterranean climate allows you to explore the whole Istrian peninsula a year around, including the winter. Winter is very mild, and summer is hot and dry. The proximity of the Adriatic see (only 20km away) makes possible visit to the beaches or old cities on the coast which are preserving their smell of Roman and Venetian times. There are a lot of manifestations year round in every city in Istria. Motovun is well known for its Film Festival (end of July), and Teran (vine) and Truffles festival (around October 19). Cycling, paragliding, hiking, swimming, cave exploring, vine testing, truffle hunting - are some of the activities you can enjoy.
