I could not provide a higher recommendation to stay at this property! The care and attention to customer service is second to none. Mario and Luka were so attentive to our needs. The included breakfast was outstanding, and in and of itself felt like we were dining at a fancy restaurant, with everyone lovingly made in-house. The provided tour also makes booking this property a no brainer. I would highly recommend and will definitely book this property again for any future visits to Split!

Wonderful welcome, hospitality. Amazing breakfast, as vegan and vegetarians we were very well catered for. The rooms are very comfortable, beautifully decorated and have all that you are going to need. Luka and Mario were excellent hosts, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and gave us good recommendations for the area. The hotel is in a good location. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely return and I will be recommending this hidden gem to anyone coming to Split.

Mario and Luka very exceptional hosts, always available to give tips and very warm hosts in general. The property is very central as well as close to the port. The property has a really good restaurant downstairs, which I recommend for lunch or dinner. I loved my stay at Makarun!

The location, the restaurant, the personalised service....we felt like we were really taken care of. Luka met us at the parking just outside the old town as there are no parking stations inside. Our very heavy luggage was transported via tricycle to our room. The room was very modern and spotless with beautiful quality toiletries and lovely linen and plenty of towels. Mario gave us a private guided tour around Old town, and Luka gave us some fabulous restaurant recommendations 👌 Their breakfast was brilliant and tasty. I can't rate or recommend this place enough. Book it. You won't regret it.

Luka and Mario's hospitality was beyond compare. From the thoughtful welcome amenities to the recommendations for local attractions and dining spots, every detail was meticulously attended to. It truly felt like we were staying with a dear friend rather than simply renting a space. The room itself is also new, clean and comfy. The location is also great, with a walkable distance to every must-go spot in Split as well as the coach station. There's also a shop with a 1 min walk from the room, which is very convenient.
