Villas Barat by Istarski dvori is a family holiday resort located near the picturesque village household and landscape. Villas Barat consist of twelve luxury stone villas located just 15 minutes drive from the Istrian coast. Each villa offers a unique experience, and together they form a small village ideal for relaxing family holidays. The resort is situated on a hill that offers a unique view of the Adriatic Sea and the Istrian vineyards. The villas are built in traditional Istrian style-rustic design. On the outside are covered with decorative Istrian stone which covered the walls and some rooms. Each villa is individual building surrounded by stone walls and has a private garden decorated with familiar Mediterranean plants and trees, and outdoor rectangular swimming pool or jacuzzi. For every yard is located pergola with two parking spaces. Interior of the villa is furnished with rustic design, board floors, and floors covered with ceramic tiles, and ceilings are decorated with wooden beams. In the living room is located an open fireplace lined with decorative stone. Kitchen, dining room and living room are fully equipped for eight persons with rustic designed furniture.

Barat is located in the municipality of Višnjan, and is one of the fifty four settlements. It is located about 1.5 km south of Porec and east of the road Visnjan - Bacva and east of the Istrian Motorway. Istria has a mild Mediterranean climate, with warm and dry summers and mild and pleasant winters. The sunshine amounts to 2.388 sunny hours on the average yearly,whereas the insolation is around 10 hours daily during the summer time .The average air temperature in the coldest period of the year amounts to 6°C.
