Welcome to our beautiful vacation home on the Luppa island in Hungary! Nestled in this unique location, our Airbnb offers a perfect getaway for those looking to discover a new side of Budapest. Our two story vacation home provides a comfortable retreat for couples, families or group of friends. Both floors have well equipped kitchens and bathrooms, and are accesible separately. The garden is green and the terrace is super spacious. The pub is next door with fresh beer from the tap and juicy wienerschnitzels. The Luppa island itself is cozy and peaceful with the perfect mixture of nature and architecture. The tenants of the island are super friendly and quick to assist you if need help. There is no traffic on the island and is only accesible by boat. The ferry service runs from morning to evening, and the private ferry is always a possibility. Only 30 minutes from the downtown of Budapest, you can experience both the exciting city life, and enjoy the natural beauty of an island on the Danube river. We are looking forward to hosting you! Just a quick notice again! Access to the house requires a ferry from Ebihal büfé (port); no roads or bridges available.
I love to cycle and that is how I came across this magnificent place. In the past 2 years through hard effort the house was refurbished and is now ready to provide truly unique experiences for our guests.
The history of the island begun in the 1930s when the consturction of the beautiful bauhaus like holiday houses had started. The sycamore trees that line the main passage of the island also date back to those years. It is a place to find peace, relaxation, and to be able to connect with the nature. Everything within a 30 car ride from Budapest.
