Peaceful and relaxing stay with fantastic views of the Lake. Owners are very friendly and helpful. 25 mins walk to the Village with plenty of choice of cafés and restaurants..Supermarket is a 10 min drive.although there is a very small village shop.. Free WiFi was useful too. We loved staying here!

Situated in a quiet dead-end road, surrounded by villas and vineyards is an apartment for 2 persons. Private entrance and terrace, with private front garden boasting panoramic views guarantee a peaceful and relaxed stay. The apartment is situated on the ground-floor level of the house. You can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun, then later in the afternoon you can take advantage of the cool under-covered terrace. Halfway between Club Tihany and the village Tihany, in beautiful countryside with sensational panorama over Lake Balaton and vineyards, lie a couple of holiday homes to rent. The windsurfing and sailing school at Club Tihany is an easy 10 to 15 minute walk, through beautiful scenery, away. There are a couple of idyllic restaurants and wine cellar nearby.
I am Austrian and have been living in Tihany since 1988. My partner Hetti is Hungarian, originaly from Györ (NW Hungary) We live in the main building above the apartment and operate a water sports center (Sail and Surf, or SUP Center Balaton) 1.2km away. We are on the beach all day. There you can visit us anytime and possibly learn sailing, surfing or SUP. I live on the peninsula for 30 years and know all the good restaurants and a lot of insider tips.
The peninsula Tihany is one of the most beautiful places in Hungary. Geographically, historically, culturally and scenically unique. At the same time there are many restaurants, cafes and beaches.
