The most beautiful, tranquil setting - you literally wake up in paradise! The staff were some of the most friendly and hospitable staff we’ve come across during our stay. They sorted our Mount Batur hike, scooters and transfers and were always smiling. Definitely recommend!

Can not express enough how much I loved staying at Embang Homestay. Little Putri and all of the fabulous staff at Embang looked after us so well. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully styled in a simple traditional manner. It was so lovely each morning to wake up to the lush green jungle outside our front door and balcony area. The sound of the river below was the perfect background 'music' to listen to whilst whiling away many hours relaxing on the balcony. Putri or Ayu would bring our delicious simple breakfast to us each morning to also enjoy on the balcony. It is an easy stroll from Embang Homestay to some really fabulous restaurants nearby and also an interesting and not too strenuous walk to the local market area. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again next time I visit Sideman.
