A tranquil heaven right in the middle of Seminyak district, famous for its fine restaurants, boutique shopping and nightlife. Only a 5 minutes walk to the beach, with its famous surfing spots, swimming areas and sunsets. Seminyak's offers a more secluded ambiance. This is if you compare it with Kuta. However, after sunset a livelier nightlife scene takes over.
Since I grew up on the ground the beautiful and serene Island Houses are built, I know the place from when it was still surrounded by only rice fields. And although the landscape, the atmosphere, and the possibilities changed extremely during the years, my love for the place has only grown. Whenever I'm there, I feel the quietness that is inseparable from the houses. They all represent slightly different styles in the specific ways they are built, furnished, and decorated, but the one thing they have in common is a personal touch, which still reminds me of the old days. This, combined with all the comfort of today, makes me proud to offer them to those who visit Bali.
Our location is right in the middle of the Seminyak district, between the beach and KuDeTa. Surf- and sunset spots are reachable by foot, as are shopping and nightlife. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner you can have at one of the many restaurants and cafes that Seminyak offers. A small selection of favorite spots to eat: Cafe Bali, International cuisine, including some famous Indonesian Dishes, Japanese, Dutch, and French. Colonial wooden House, cozy with many candles and an excellent décor! The prices are very correct! Revolver, is one of the best coffees in town. Seacircus, opposite the Oberoi Hotels, has an excellent breakfast and famous tacos. Metis, French , very good, nouvelle cuisine. Excellent service for your lunch and dinner. Candlelight garden between an antique shop and the rice paddy. (Shop: Fine Antique, jewelry, antique batik sarongs, textiles, and clothing). La Lucciola, Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are open from 8 AM. Popular for its good ambiance and beach scene. Reservation is necessary for lunch and dinner. Ryoshi, an authentic Japanese Restaurant. Lunch and dinner. Gateway to India, Indian food with reasonable prices.
