Decoration and swimming pool. They were very kind and could make late check in and payment last day. Cozy rooms, they really take care of differenciation. Room full of books. Super comfortable beds!

Beautiful location ! Beautiful houses set in a glorious well tended lush ,green garden surrounded by a lovely pool. The houses ( I stayed in 2) are furnished with stunning Indonesian furniture,art works and antiques. The bathrooms are huge! The communal space is as tastefully designed and decorated with a great kitchen and everything you could need for full for scale entertaining. The sound of running water and koi carp in the pond create a calming and almost spiritual atmosphere . It's an oasis of peace and quiet in the midst of the madness of Canggu and getting around from there is easy . The staff are really attentive and very friendly.

I so enjoyed my stay at Wayang retreat. The beautiful garden, pool and outdoor area truly feel like a retreat from busy Canggu life. Loved the construction style of the buildings and the extra details added around the retreat to enhance the experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. The retreat cat was cute and always wanted pats. Enjoyed all the life around, koi fish, squirrel, bats, frogs. Swimming pool was amazing also.

Fantastic unique traditional historic Javanese homes relocated onto the site so every villa is entirely unique. Staff were wonderful and attentive made us feel like family. Landscaping and gardens were wonderful attracting lots of native wildlife and creating a real sense of calm and privacy. Shared dining and lounge pavilion was a great place to socialise or relax beside the Koi ponds or well maintained pool.
