Property information

Castledale is a magnificent contemporary mansion home with impressive accommodation and almost five acres of fully landscaped extensive private grounds and has electronically controlled gates for security. It has been designed and completed to exacting standards and a marvelous natural stone external finish. Inside, well-proportioned rooms have been arranged to combine optimum accommodation and fine living. A foyer entrance hall of generous proportions provides accent to all the areas of the house. A large, cinema room and a conservatory /pool room compliment the impressive kitchen, dining and living areas. Two separate stairways lead to the first floor bedroom accommodation, which include five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The spaceous suite comprises of an additional single bedroom and a large bathroom with a jazzuci. The room has a balcony with panoramic views of Killery mountains and gardens. The Penthouse is the entire second floor, is over 2000 square feet with high ceilings and wooden beams.It has been converted to create a unique living space. The area comprises of two balconies one with views of Knocknarea mountain and the other front facing a lake/mountains

Sligo - 'place of the shells' has a beautiful and rugged contrasting landscape, from sandy beaches with rolling Atlantic waves to its legendary mountains of Benbulben and Knocknarea,hidden lakes and small villages. Despite its size it has a huge array of things to do and see, whether It is your first time or you’re a regular visitor. Activities range from the adventures of golf, riding, walking, cycling, surfing and fishing to the more passive pastimes of sightseeing and seaweed baths. The Gulf Stream and Sligo’s location on the Atlantic coast means that the winter months can be milder than you would expect. The romance of Sligo has provided inspiration for poets, artists and musicians through the centuries as well as in present times. The county is famed for its traditions of music and dance. It’s not only traditional music that is celebrated - the numerous concerts and festivals of jazz, country, classical and pop are evidence of the development and promotion of music in the county. Throughout Sligo there are references to Jack and W.B. Yeats to Countess Markievicz. The county itself has adopted one of Yeats’ descriptions of itself as its slogan: "Land of Heart's Desire"
