"Follies Suites" with Ocean Views on Greenway A haven of peace, commanding panoramic views of the Ocean 2 minutes from the most photographed spot on the Greenway and just 6km from the bustling town of Dungarvan. This large 25m2 suite, has a King sized bed with pure cotton bed linen, a relaxing seating area, tea & coffee, wine glasses and an en-suite bathroom. The room is very private, with views over the Comeragh mountains, green fields and the Atlantic ocean. Follies is the perfect place to relax and unwind - the only sound you'll hear is of the breeze and the waves. WIFI is available in the room. A 3 course dinner and breakfast can be served in our sunroom overlooking the Atlantic Ocean (the reviews might help you decide) - this is available at weekends only and needs to be booked separately.
We moved back to Ireland after 26 years in France to the stunning town of Dungarvan. We updated our family holiday home and thoroughly enjoy hosting visitors to the area. At weekends we enjoy preparing meals for our guests (both breakfast and dinner need to be booked in advance) as we used to have a restaurant in Montpellier. We love sharing tips of where to visit in the area and where to dine out.
Our dominant position 75m above sea level is surrounded by farm land. A trip up the road will take you to Glen Fruits farm where you can buy local seasonal fruit. A short walk from the house takes you onto the fabulous Greenway and a little further on, you can get to the blue flag stunning Clonea beach with lifeguards on duty in season. The thriving and welcoming beautiful harbour town of Dungarvan boasts some excellent restaurants, pubs, boutiques, a museum and sporting activities including 3 golf courses. There is never a dull moment.
