Every Thursday afternoon, the Country Market operates from Abbeystrewry Parochial Hall, while on Saturday, the Skibbereen Farmers Market is held from 9.30am till 1.30pm at the Fairfield. Each provides an excellent range of food, crafts, bric-a-brac, etc. This is rural Ireland at its best. The cattle market is held on Fridays.
