The moment you arrive at the ridge on which the "Village on the Cliff" is situated, a few steps ahead you will find one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. The village itself serves as an observation point, and you will feel immediately as if you are hiking within nature. After enjoying the view, you are invited to what will be your home, and enter an upgraded eco-style accommodation unit, a very spacious and stable structure with a climate-friendly air conditioning system. Inside the tent you will find a very comfortable bathroom, a warm shower and a storage area. Those who choose can relax on comfortable futon mattresses in the room's large space. Outside the room you can relax or eat in the shaded seating area and soak up coffee on the ridge in front of the sunset, which colors the landscape in bright colors. The place is suitable for a wide range of recretional and other activities: lodging of families, groups, hikers and travellers, hosting of seminars, conferences, events and special workshops. Full accessibility is available for people with disabilities.
A family of farmers who have been living in a quiet Moshav in the Golan Heights for many years, close to the wild and amazing nature of the southern Golan. Agriculture and land work, and especially the connection to nature and hiking, were always a family thing. We want to give the traveler a feeling of family and home, so we set up "Village on the Cliff" to give guests a homey and upgraded experience, combined with a strong connection to nature and the Golan.
The unique village is situated on the edge of a basalt cliff in the southern Golan Heights, overlooking the breathtaking panoramic views: the Galilee mountains, the Arbel cliff, HaTavor peak, the Jordan Valley fields, Mount Sussita and of course the Sea of ​​Galilee spread out in all its glory. The village is on the edge of the mountain but in everything related to hiking it is right in the center and is an excellent base. The hikers will be able to leave here to trek the Golan trail that runs right next to the village. In addition, many hiking trails in the southern Golan Heights are easily accessible from the village. Those who choose to travel on wheels will find countless attractions and adventures in challenging landscapes, special natural phenomena, characteristic flowering of the region, waterfalls and flowing streams, intriguing archeology, artists villages and fine wineries.
