Phenomenal management, staff, and and even better property made for one of the best stays we've ever had. Milton, his team, and the chef made us feel welcome, and treated us like Royalty. The home succeeded in transporting us to a different time, with breathtaking water viewers, unmatched privacy, delectable Kerala business, and a tastefully decorated home away from home. It also helps that the whole home is booked in the reservation - privacy and staff attention is great. Even (or perhaps especially) for people from Kerala, this was an authentic experience from start to end - one that cannot be attained in a hotel or homestay.

The property is historical & beautiful. It's located in a quiet part of Kochi and there is sufficient privacy. The staff (Milton, Sajitha, Martin & Vipin) are very attentive and friendly. The food made by the chef Sajitha was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals during our stay there. Mr. Milton Varghese organised a sunset backwater tour on the day of our arrival. It was nice & we had a good time. We also had the pleasure of seeing a performance of Sopana Sangeetham arranged by Mr. Varghese.

Since we had an early morning flight and arrived at the property at 4am while it was all dark, it did have a very spooky feel to it. But we were overjoyed from sunrise onwards and throughout the rest of the stay. Lovely staff and manager Mr. Milton who took care of our every need. It felt like staying at our family home and being spoilt :) The views, the boat ride, the special dance performance, the fresh fish and super yummy preparations were all more than what we expected. It was indeed a very memorable and special experience for my daughter and myself!

This is without doubt one of my favourite stay so far. The location is a hidden gem. Best of all though is the lovely staff and the service you receive - it is truly superb. All the staff, especially Milton, the property manager is soo courteous and did his utmost to accommodate our every need. He deserves a five star for his stellar service. You are made to feel welcome and relaxed here. I am already looking forward to our next visit.

Chittoor kottaram är en oas. Miljön, omgivningen, personalen, maten - allt är genomtänkt i detalj och en typ av subtil lyx som är svår att få till men som lyckas fenomenalt. Vi reste i Kerala med familjen och detta var en höjdpunkt och ett mycket välkommet avbrott från det hektiska livet utanför murarna. Dagarna bara förflöt, vi njöt av omgivningen, badade i den natursköna poolen, åt lokala specialiteter och fick ayurvedisk massage. Varje dag arrangerade husvärden Milton kulturella upplevelser vilket blev en fin touch på vår vistelse. Som en bonus fick vi en fantastisk båtfärd i solnedgången i Keralas backwaters. Det allra bästa med chittoor kottaram är personalen. Milton, Martin och alla andra gör hela tiden det lilla extra och ger personlig, vänlig och närvarande service. Det är inte något billigt boende men ändå väldigt prisvärt givet vad man får för pengarna: Vi rekommenderar varmt, ett minne för livet!
