Beautiful rural location with town and wildlife park a Tuk Tuk Ride away. Had a lovely guided walk with George round the plantation and anothe on our own around the local tea terraces. Accomodation luxurious and cooked evening meal superb, I thik the best food on our three week tour.

The location was excellent - easy to get to Thekkady by tuk tuk. George’s Mum cooks wonderful Keralan food and not expensive. The view from our balcony was superb especially in the afternoon sun.

This was, by a long distance, the best place I stayed during my month in India. Modern, clean, stylish rooms (that also smelled amazing). The homecooked food was incredible. The manager is very helpful booking tuk tuks, doing plantation tours, and helping book treks in the reserve.

Outstanding in all regards: the host George is super nice and helpful. He also prebooked tours within the park for us, as that was not possible to do with a non Indian credit card. The room was very tastefully done and spotless clean. Also the bathroom had a separate shower which was very nice. The location is perfect, as it is idyllicaly set within a Plantation surrounded by green, but also just a short ride to the entrance of the periyar national park.

The house and surroundings of the home stay are beautiful. We enjoyed the personal and low key tour through the spice gardens by George and learnt a lot about the plants of the region. As we left early in the morning, it was very thoughtful to have sandwiches and coffee ready for us at that time. We enjoyed our short stay at Coffee and Pepper a lot and would love to stay longer next time.

We had a very great and special time at this place. George and his family have build a wonderful and peaceful place. Everything is modern und clean and the food was one of the best of Indian experience. We even have gotten a tour through the garden and George explained all the different kind of plants and trees. We definitely would recommend a stay in their home!

This is a wonderful house and the best accommodation we had on our entire Kerala trip. The room we stayed in was huge, very comfortable and had a great view! The garden of the property is amazing and George was very helpful with everything that we needed, especially reserving the Periyar Tiger Reserve tickets, which proved to be a difficult task for us! The breakfast and dinner were great, at a very good price.
