The location is very special. The service was also very good and th y went the extra mile to help with everything. Figo in particular was a pleasure to deal with. The food they cook is exceptional.

The location was amazing, the property was lovely, the room and service was really good, the staff were so helpful and kind. We would thoroughly recommend this place to stay. The owner needs to put a sign at the bottom of the road as it was difficult for our taxi to locate the place and the road up was challenging for a normal vehicle. We will be sad to leave.

Spice Forest is a paradise for foodlovers and bird watchers. We spent 6 nights there and half puff the time we were the only guests. The cook and his assistant were very forthcoming and helped us with everything, organized trips to nearby Gavi Nat. Park and Periyar and showed us around on the plantation. We saw 40-50 different birds and Sambar deer, brown deer, giant and small squirrels. Francis is a fantastic cook. He cooked various rational Kerala dishes and made beautiful parotha. It was a real treat. We just fear that we have had the best of India in pour first week.....

It was in a beautiful location. I loved the glass eating area for its magnificent views. The owner and staff are amazing and really go out of their way to accommodate you. They are very caring and even worried about our wellbeing the first night we were late getting back.

Être dans un endroit exceptionnel et très calme,, en pleine forêt au milieu des plantations de cardamome, poivre, clous de girofle, thé etc.... Très jolie chambre en teck avec terrasse donnant sur la jungle, personnel très gentil et serviable, la cuisine délicieuse, à la carte et vraiment pas chère.... Situé près de Gavi à voir absolument( réserve de Periyar) 1

Das Haus befindet sich am Ende einer kleinen Bergstraße auf einer angenehm kühlen Höhe von 1000m üNN und gehört zu einer Gewürzplantage, wo Pfeffer und Kardamom und anderes angebaut wird. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber geschmackvoll, jedoch würde hier und da ein frischer Anstrich guttun. Bett ist gut. Essen ist gut. Der Blick vom Balkon in den Dschungel ist atemberaubend. Man muss aber wissen, dass man circa 6 km von der nächsten Siedlung entfernt ist, leicht zu erreichen, mit einer Motorikscha. Man kann wunderbare Spaziergänge unter anderem durch die Teeplantagen und Kardamomwäldchen unternehmen. Wer also Erholung vom hektischen Indien sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Derzeit wird ein Natur-Swimmingpool gebaut, der ab März 2024 fertig sein dürfte. Ich werde mit mehr Zeit wiederkommen! Noch etwas: Moskitonetz nicht vergessen! Tipp: Lange Schnur über das Bett spannen und daran das Netz aufhängen.

L'emplacement incroyable au milieu des plantations de thé et de la végétation, la vue sur la montagne et l'établissement à taille humaine. Le personnel au petit soin et la cuisine servie de qualité. Sérénité et calme pour se ressourcer ! Au top !
