Loved absolutely everything about this humble abode, which has been very carefully and thoughtfully put together. Mr Mohit and Ms Pranali are very generous hosts. They whip up and serve delectable breakfast, give the best recommendations and serve a perfect balance of being hosts and giving you the required space. The house has a charm that exudes a warm hug. The 3 resident canines are as well a delight. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and sufficiently spacious. If you are looking for something warm and away from the buzz, this is for you. All things market and buzz are just a quick ride away.

Pranali and Mohit were wonderful hosts, we felt welcomed and very much at home. The house they have built in traditional Portuguese style is stunning and a credit to them. The gardens are beautiful and breakfast in the gazebo in the mornings, lovely. Pranali is a very good cook and we had home cooked traditional Indian breakfast each morning. The rooms are comfortable and the balcony was a nice place to sit in the shade reading in the afternoon. They have three very friendly dogs who wag their tails and greet you like a long lost friend every time you come back. Just magical and we would most definitely recommend and return.

The property was very nice with moderately spacious rooms with amenities like AC and Fridge inside the room. The hosts were friendly and cordial and we loved the homely breakfasts served from the host’s kitchen.

The homestay is so beautifully built, with each each detail and decor put so thoughtfully. It gives you a laid back vintage vibe with all modern amenities. The hosts are wonderful and hospitable. Dogs are nice to play. Some of the secluded beaches are 3-4 kms from there and similarly Martin's corner, the famous eatery of the place. Breakfast is included and is home cooked by the host Pranali. Overall, a wonderful stay, wish we would have stayed longer.

Mr. and Mrs. are the kindest souls we have met during our journey through India. They were helpful sharing tips, with setting up trips and cooking delicious breakfast. The dogs were nice and were always up for a cuddle. Small, but very important bonus.

It’s a great location and area surrounded by greenery. We particularly enjoyed the balcony in the room overlooking the neighbourhood. The room is clean and functional. Mohit and Pranali are wonderful hosts with great attention to detail. Villa Agastya is a beautiful house that they have painstakingly put together. We enjoyed breakfast time in the gazebo everyday with tea and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our chats — their recommendations and suggestions were great. Saving the best part for last — their lovely dogs Angel, Coco, Scott and Rambo from next doors are great company. It’s a good place to stay if you’re looking for a non-touristy place to stay in the quiet villages of the South.
