Pristine living in a Mountain Chalet, having breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks of Trisul, Nandadevi and Panchchuli. Located over a landscaped green hill in a village called Majkhali, a peaceful personal retreat and a splendid escape near Ranikhet, at just 9 hour's drive from Delhi, and 3 hours' drive from Nainital/Bhimtal. A 50 Km drive further takes you to hill stations like Kausani, Binsar, & Almora. Property Layout: Our mountain home is a duplex villa * The property has 2 bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms (1 attached, 1 common) on the lower level * 3rd bedroom and balcony (located on upper level) - does not have attached toilet * A cute Living room with an informal setting, a fireplace (decorative only), and a rosewood writing table * A small open kitchenette next to the living room * A beautiful paved patio overlooking the lawn

Neighbourhood information

Watching the sunrise over the mighty snow-covered peaks, or an afternoon beer sitting under the bright sun, lounging on our sun beds, makes our villa a blissful experience. The neighbourhood is a beautiful, non-commercialized mountain village experience, with few residential cottages of Vimoksha Valley II. If you are lucky, you may hear the leopard growl, sometimes at night, from the forest below. The place is a heaven for Artists, Photographers, Bird-watchers, and Stargazers. Located over a landscaped green hill in a village called Majkhali, a peaceful personal retreat and a splendid escape near Ranikhet, just 8 hours drive from Delhi, and 2 hours drive from Nainital / Bhimtal. A 50 Km drive further takes you to hill stations like Kausani, Binsar, and Almora. Please note a water charge of Rs. 500 per day is applicable on all bookings.
