We enjoyed our stay at the lava guesthouse. A friendly host welcomed us and gave us many information for the area. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was in walking distance. We highly recommend to stay at the guesthouse to explore Heimaey.

Great location with easy parking after the ferry. Very welcome reception. Comfy and warm room. Shared bathroom was kept clean and didn't feel basic. Large kitchen with tea and coffee. All you need for a short stay on the island.

I didn’t put high expectation at first honestly, but once i checked in everything’s beyond what i expected.. very clean and comfortable room and i love the spot clean bathroom and kitchen.. the bathroom look just like ikea showroom, it is that perfect.. i will highly recommend this place.. i actually regret my decision for only stayed one night and moved to the capsule hostel nearby which i didn’t enjoyed that much there

The guesthouse is newly renovated with the feeling of "boutique", although it is a guesthouse. We had a small but really fresh room and the shared bathrooms were so much better than where we had stayed before on our Icelandic journey. No shoes in the house, perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. When booking, you get codes for the doors and there is no key needed anywhere. Parking is possible in the streeet just outside the guesthouse. The guesthouse is situated smack in the middle of the very small town of Torshavn and has a microbrewery in the same block, perfect for us beer lovers.

The accommodation was cozy, comfortable, and everything was so clean. In the kitchen you can use all the things, you can cook if you want or save your things in the fridge. I have never been in a Guesthouse but it is incredible, like a hotel. So recommendable. Absolutely.
