The Azaghi family has been working in the restaurant for 35 years. They had a fish restaurant in front to Portofino before to sell it and build an eco-sustainable straw house in the middle of the wood, in the Vara Valley, close to Cinque Terre. The staff is the family itself: chef Marco, assistant cook Paolo, sommelier/waiter Francesca and Sergio, cheese maker and naturopath Simone.

The Azaghi family welcome you in a beautiful farmhouse, one of the best way to enjoy Italian food&wine experience and the authentic rural life of the Italian countryside old villages. The rooms and the suites are located in a straw house and in an ancient villa. All the locations have authentic floor, antique furniture, own bathroom and access to terrace and/or green spaces. The cuisine of the restaurant is based on the products of the natural farm: vegetables, honey, fruits, yogurt, cheese and meat from Cabannine Cows, with the top quality Slow Food certification. You can enjoy a natural wine bottle selecting it in the hearty wine list. A wellness professional is at your disposal for massages and rebalancing treatments.

The agriturismo is located in the middle of the wood, 20 minutes far from the highway exit of Carrodano. The road to reach it is curvilinear but paved. You can walk in the Vara Valley paths, discovering a wild nature and the Highway Ligurian Mountains tops. Vara valley is famous for old villages and organic food and farms. Varese Ligure is the first organic village in Europe. This valley is located exactly behind the Cinque Terre National Park, so the position is perfect to visit these famous fish villages, the Ligurian coasts and beaches but also the north of Tuscany and Parma province.
