The location was an absolute winner for us: a stone’s throw from the cathedral and palazzo normando and a short walking distance to Ballaro and Capo markets. It is very central and yet quietly away from the busiest part of town where it can get hectic. The view from the double room is exactly how it's depicted, with direct view of the cathedral. Although the triple room was on the cosy side for our family, we have no complaints. In the room, you get a capsule coffee machine, tea and proper mugs, although no milk (of course! In Sicily the espresso is king and sometimes even restaurants won't have milk to add to coffee). The host was super communicative and gave us great tips of places to eat. We loved the breakfast vouchers even though we weren’t sure about them in the beginning: but Bar Marocco is brilliant and I would go back there just to gorge on Iris (highly recommended sweet Sicilian breakfast pastry) and other delicacies.

The location is stunning and so close to everything. The view from the balcony is indeed the cathedral, and it's beautiful. The room is very nicely done, and the shower is great. I loved the tea/coffee facilities and the complementary water. Access is fuss free and the manager is very responsive via message.

This is a real gem! Beautifully restored old building with character but also chic, clever modern design with high standard of finish throughout. Beautiful decor from gorgeous floor tiles to fabulous walk in shower and stunning, original, wooden ceiling. Fantastic little touches such as the coffee machine and the whole set up for refreshments, lovely toiletries and neatly stored chairs for Juliet balcony. Great location overlooking Duomo. All exactly described and shown in photos on booking.com. Immaculately clean! Helpful hosts available on WhatsApp. Didn’t try out the nearby cafe for breakfast but I appreciated the vouchers being included. I would love to return for a longer stay.

A lovely, well lit and comfy room with a beautiful ceiling and good size bathroom, all spotless and well kitted out with a coffee machine, kettle, Tbags and coffee pods that were replaced each day, plus shampoo/shower gel. A pretty balcony with chairs and a little table for eating our breakfast while admiring the cattedrale di Palermo on the other side of the Piazza. I requested the possibility of a gluten-free breakfast (supplied in price) and we had a lovely choice left for us in baskets, with butter and yoghurt in the fridge. Excellent location and the host was very accessible over WhatsApp, giving us restaurant recommendations, including the best gluten free pizza I’ve had in Italy so far. Tommaso, the trusted driver, picked us up and dropped us off from the airport and was also lovely. We want to come back asap and bring more friends and family!
