The location was absolutely phenomenal, a few minute walk from all of the main sights, including ones on the other side of the river. The room itself was really well designed with beautiful pieces of vintage-like furniture and a large ensuite-bathroom with a shower. However, our favourite part was probably the balcony that was not only remarkably large, but also serene – giving us the well-known and highly-desired 'Italian balcony experience'. Above all, Carlotta was an amazing host, who went out her way to meet all of our possible needs. E.g. despite the limited vegan options in Italy, she has managed to find us and prepare us a vegan breakfast each morning that was not only excellent, but also felt authentic to the local cuisine. She is an infinitely cheerful, kind, yet professional, host, who will make your stay feel fun, special and as seamless as possible!

A really lovely and comfortable guesthouse run by the wonderful Carlotta. The bed was large and comfortable and the welcome was warm. We thought it was room only so were delighted when Carlotta offered us fresh organge juice, coffee, fruit salad, croissant and cake the first morning! It's in a good location in terms of walking distance to central Florence.
