Had old world charm with modern fixtures. Wonderful that there was a lift in the building to make access with suitcases easier. Exceptionally clean. Great to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room at night or first up in the morning. The staff were excellent, organising transport, making sure our stay was great and if we needed anything they assisted. Could not have asked for more. Thank you, you made our stay very enjoyable.

Rome is a wonderful city with many incredible historical sites. I have been twice and have had a great time both times. It can certainly be crowded since it is a major tourist destination but still worth it. The food experience is amazing as well. The metro is a convenient and easy to use option but I find Rome a great walking city too.

Our visit to Rome was a mixed experience, which was consistent with many other friends, family and colleagues who have traveled to Rome previously. While the sights were beautiful and the food was great, the city was incredibly congested, dirty, and we encountered some of the rudest people during our time in Italy. Rome was busy and crowded, that made us feel like we were always in the way. Despite the cool things to see, we were constantly worried about being pickpocketed and didn't feel safe at night walking around, even coming from major metropolitans in the US. It’s the one city we would not return to on future trips, except for using it as an airport hub.

Pictures don’t do Italy any justice, the buildings and monuments are absolutely stunning. The food & drink alone was phenomenal and the prices even better. The perfect break that was well needed. Highly recommend skip the line tours & a few extra pennys for the shopper. Real class, the service was high standard. Take a refillable bottle as water fountains can be found through out the city! <3

Two full days are sufficient to explore the highlights of Rome and Vatican City, provided you are prepared for an active itinerary from 09:00 to 21:00. To maximize your time and avoid long waiting lines, it is essential to pre-book tickets for popular museums and attractions. We managed this schedule with two children, aged 7 and 10, and found it to be a rewarding experience.

Rome in mid May was very busy with tourists as is to be expected for such a destination.
Our highlights were the Panthenon, Coliseum, the Sistene Chapel and St Peter's (far less so the the vatican mueseum area) plus a quiet 2 hour train trip to Orvieto and the caves and well.
We stayed at The Major for the last day of our southern Italy trip prior to flying home from Rome. The room was great—plenty of space, large bathroom. Staff was very helpful.
Breakfast was served at the rooftop restaurant which was a lovely picturesque al fresco experience.
Very convenient (10 minute walk) from Roma Termini, which was great for us since we arrived by train from Napoli and left via the Leonardo Express to FCO.
Very comfortable hotel in the rail station area—which typically can be a little "hit or miss".
Located 2 blocks from the Rome train station, is perfect for an overnight stay that you can easily walk to. The room was part of an apartment building that you enter from a locked door on the street. There is a beautiful courtyard, typical of many apartments and homes inItaly. The room was clean, the bed, comfortable. There is a kitchen and markets nearby, as well as ,numerous restaurants and pizza places (avoid the nearby McDonalds). The fixtures were definitely outdated, but it had a lot of Italians charm.
Hotel is very conveniently placed for travellers who come for sight-seeing in Rome but don't want to stay right in the centre, as there are two public bus lines close by and they operate frequently. It is even possible to park a private car at the hotel but the number of places is limited. Our room was perfectly comfortable and clean, fresh towels every day, mini fridge, safe deposit box, air-condition. Breakfast included more variety of foods than in many hotels in Italy (eggs, bacon, cold meats...).
Probably one of my best stays in europe and particularly in Italy for that range of price. Staff was very kind, helpful and humble. The room was very clean with all equipments. no noise from the streets since the window is toward the garden. very close to the metro and Roma Termini. and I need to mention while the breakfast was not on the list of benefits I had access to the coffee and light breakfast and also the kitchen tools. I would surely remember this hotel for later when I visit Rome.
We thoroughly enjoyed this location, which straddles the neighborhoods of Monti and Esquilino. It was easily walkable to many sites as well as to public transportation, including Termini. The communication prior to arrival was excellent, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the coffee/tea station which also had little snacks available. I would absolutely recommend staying here, though the prices in Rome were a shock after being in Southern Italy.
It was our first time in the Rome and in Italy. We are happy to stay in this nice little hotel, and u know, guys, it was perfectly👍🏻
Elmer gave us special information for auto check-in, don’t worry about it you can find hotel very easy.Every day, sweet girl cleaned our room and added two coffees, it was so nice😊 Thank you for your honesty! Oh, and there is one thing, that’s really cool, you can pay for your room during your staying, it’s a really unique for Rome!🤌
The location is WOW. right at the center of all things, but in a quite ally and above the best coffe in Italy and one of the best ice creams, and some really good Italian restaurants... good for your trip, bad for your diet. The room and the bed were really great and comfy, and with a great shower which is important to us. The staff was super helpful with everything, Dennis was really great.
Our "go to" hotel in Rome from now on. Can't wait to come back :)
Perfect location in what was our first visit Rome and has now become a firm favourite area we would stay in time and time again. Staff were courteous and kind, really polite, and lots of nice little touches to make our stay lovely. The daily happy hour 6-8 was a huge bonus! The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, even with no onsite kitchen fresh scrambled egg and fresh fruit and coffee (just my choice, many other options) was delicious.
This was the best place we stayed in Italy. Nice and new, modern and contemporary. Felt extremely clean, comfortable beds and we were lucky enough to have a view of Piazza Venezia from our room. Great location, we walked everywhere and didn’t have to use public transport once. Plus the breakfast! Pietro really went the extra mile to make breakfast each morning that bit special. Will definitely be back when we return to Rome.
The hotel is in a great location only a few minutes walk from Roma Termini station. The staff are very helpful and friendly and there was a good selection at breakfast of both continental and cooked options. We stayed on two occasions on a recent trip to Italy and on our second stay we were upgraded free of charge to a junior suite which was very spacious. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Rome.
Very clean rooms, comfortable and nice looking I think the best hotel we have experienced so far in Italy. Just next to the metro station and away from the crowd - best location to explore Rome The host is very friendly. I was did not want to leave as I felt so relaxed and wanted to stay longer.
The hotel is fabulous. The location is incredible- in front of the most beautiful monument in Italy- the Pantheon. It is within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. The staff is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I always return to this hotel whenever I am in Rome.
This place was great. They were helpful and friendly. The breakfast for being a small mom & pop hotel was great - same every day, but lovey. The bed is comfortable, which is hard to find in Italy, as they’re all VERY firm. It’s quiet and you don’t hear others.
We had great time at Peace of Rome. The hotel is close to the Vatican and City centre. Host was very nice, he recommended us what is worth to see and also recommended a public transport, which is the best to use. Room was tidy.
300 meters from Vatican museum, in front of building is a green market, can be loud, but this a Italy.planty of restaurants, street food, caffes, and what makes me happy, not that much tourists, on contrary of Rome center
Best Hotel during our trip true Italy.
Very kind and helpful receptionist. Clean and comfortable room. Amazing rooftop terrace!
Top breakfast!! We will be back soon to Rome and only in that Hotel. Grazie
The breakfast was better than all hotels we stayed in Italy. I had fractured my ankle in Florence before arriving to Rome. I was wheelchair bound and The staff was so accommodating and friendly.
Hidden gem in the heart of Rome! Breakfast in a cafe was 100% worth it! it's an Italian breakfast, but... You're in Italy! This is what we were waiting for and it exceeded all expectations ! :)
Omar at the reception is a gem
He has amazing tips for activities in Rome and across Italy. He's super proactive and extremely polite and friendly.
