The "Torre del Pittore" is an old and traditional house located in the hills surrounding "Reggimonti", 300 meters above the sea between Bonassola and Framura. The walls are made with big rocks, the nature is all around, and the view is breathtaking. In 1999 the property has been completely renovated, so today the comfort is guaranteed. From this hill, surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean oaks, you can see the Mediterranean sea up to the French border. Inside the house, there is a kitchen, a big living room with sofa-bed, a mezzanine-bedroom and a toilet. Outside you have a table in front of the sea and a lot of green to relax in.
My name is Matteo, I live in the region since years but I'm not from Liguria (I was born in Milan). I admire this part of Italy because of its authenticity, the beauty of the nature, the fantastic sea, the possibility of practicing a lot of sports (hiking, snorkeling, mountain biking, fishing, bird-watching, etc.). In particular, the hikes in the region, among which the ones connecting the Cinque Terre, are amazing, there are a lot of ups and downs, passing through the history of this region, the old houses, the different kinds of vegetation, the amazing views.
The house is isolated, but 10 minutes walk from Reggimonti and Montaretto (here you can also find a market for buying fruit, bread, cheese, pasta, wine, etc.). All around there are several paths for hiking in the nature, both for going up the see the mountains, or for going down until the sea.
