I had a slight worry that, as someone not at all used to boats and with a bit of sea anxiety also (although paradoxically I love the sea), sleeping here would turn out to be a tad too adventurous. It was in fact probably in my top three most pleasurable accommodations I've stayed in, in about 15 years of using booking.com. Everything on the boat is extremely well thought through and in very good condition. Ines was extremely nice and hospitable in all possible ways, from check in, throughout the stay, and at checkout.

The welcoming sailing vessel for the exclusive use of guests who choose this "different" accommodation has a total of 3 double bedrooms (one of which is intended for luggage management) and two bathrooms. No sharing with other unrelated guests. If you wish to have a separate cabin from your travel companion, please specify this when booking. Even in autumn and winter the boat is an excellent accommodation for visiting the city. It's not nearly as cold as you might think. The boat is well heated, like in a mountain cabin. Furthermore, the climate in Puglia is very mild.
I am the owner of the boat and your host, my name is Ines and I am 58 years old. I was born in Germany but in fact I have been apulien since the age of 22. Sailing came into my life by chance and I immediately fell in love with life on board. Then I realized the dream of having a boat of my own and along the way, or rather, miles along, the desire was born to offer hospitality to visitors who arrive in Bari by offering a different hospitality experience. An opportunity to experience and see the city from the point of view of the sea. I personally take care of the cleaning and welcoming my guests.
The boat is moored in the most beautiful and panoramic place in Bari, directly in front of the city center skyline and a few steps away from the two halves of the Apulian capital, the old and new quarters. From the boat you can admire the city illuminated in the evening and you are directly on the seafront to reach the most important attractions, restaurants and shops. The station can be reached on foot and the airport by taxi in 15 minutes. Several "park and ride" car parks allow convenient parking for those arriving with their own car, in addition to the public ones available around the nautical club. It's very close to the castle, to the most important theaters of the town, to the famous St. Nicolas Cathedral, to the walkway on the ancient walls and the characteristic old town.
