We really liked Santo Stefano B&B Putignano. The hosts were extremely kind, the rooms were well heated (it was cold days in April) and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very charming and nice, every morning we woke up in a good mood. The house and its location in the old part of the town are extremely authentic.
It’s not a remark, but it’s important to know: some rooms are reached by steep stairs. Parking is free very close - public parking or on the street. In April we had no problem with parking, but maybe during the busier season it will be more difficult.

Rosy, the host, is welcoming and help to satisfy the needs. We had a small baby and she let us have a baby cot next to the king size bed. The flat was very clean and is very well furnitured.

Fantastic destination to make trips to all famous historic towns as Matera, Alberobello and many more. Putignano has great historic centre, many restaurants also with live music. Every Wednesday there is really big market near historic centre with fashion and many more. People here are generally very friendly. I can only recommend it.

Puitignano is not visited by thousands of tourists but keeps its atmosphere. We were lucky to enjoy the festival of San Giovanni , when local people organize a market and a medieval parade in the center. There is a nice square, beautiful churches and good pubs in the town. Not far from the really touristy places, if you want to join the crowds:-).KláraCzech Republic

Besides that it has a strategic location for exploring many if the famous gems of Puglia such as Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Locorotondo and Martina Franka, as my friends later on confirmed, it was sparkling clean, the breakfast was really good, and Putignano itself appeared to also be an interesting and romantic spot to explore.
