La Rugaia is a lovingly restoring house surrounded by a 3 hectares garden with typical mediterranean plants, olive trees, and eucalyptus. It is situated 800 mt from the sea, which can be reached on foot (5 minutes) or on bicycle passing through the Oasi San Felice naturalistic pathway where myrtle, rosemary and mastic grow spontaneously. The beach faces some of the famous Arcipelago Toscano’s islands Monte Argentario, Giglio and Monte Cristo. La Rugaia is ten minutes drive from shops and restaurants in Castiglione della Pescaia or Marina di Grosseto, both of them on the top of the Wonderful Italian Sea Resort ranking. Some Tuscany places of interest like Siena, Montalcino, Val d’Orcia, Saturnia Thermal Baths, can be reached in one hour drive thanks to its strategic position.
