La Terrazza di Maria is a bright and cozy first floor apartment, decorated in a marine style with light furniture and rough woods. Two wide bedrooms, two bathrooms, a comfortable living room and a fully equipped modern kitchen. A large terrace with table, swing and awning to breathe the scent of the sea as the Mistral, the wind which characterizes our coasts, rises. The terrace in my opinion is the strong point of the house: it is spacious, fresh, you can see the sea and you can smell our pinewood. On the back side of the house, with separate access, there is a large garden with a children's playground, barbecue, tables and loungers for relaxing. You can use it together with other guests
Welcome in my house!! I am a mother of four sons in my fourties, I love reading, cooking organic food, speaking and learning foreign languages, discovering different cultures and way of living... And that's why I literally adore being a host!! It gives me the chance to make new friends and see my children communicating and playing with other kids so different from them. It opens our mind and reminds us how beautiful the entire world is!
The apartment is located at 200 mt from the beach in the district of "Shanghai " which takes its name from the village of fishermen in the area and is the most quiet and private area of the village. Here you can enjoy your holiday relaxing, surrounded by nature one step away from the sea . A pleasant walk on the beach will allow you to reach quickly Principina a Mare and , a little further , you will be at the mouth of the river Ombrone in the heart of the Maremma Park . A bike path running through the pinewood will immerse you into the local Mediterranean maquis up to Principina a Mare, an ideal place for jogging, using sports equipment for public access along the way . At 100 metres from the house you'll find a bar, several restaurants and pizzerias, a small supermarket, delicious takeaway food and during summertime a fruit/vegetable market with fresh local products and also several resorts with sun umbrellas, sunbeds, playgrounds, swimming pools and bars. At the back of the house, over the courtyard, a fresh pinewood for walking, jogging, horse riding while enjoying the scents of the Mediterranean maquis.
