The apartment is close to several beaches and some historical sites. It was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and has really good internet. Untypically, it has no TV which increased our relaxation factor as we travel with children. The children enjoyed the big fenced in garden areal to run around. The owners are very nice and educated people. It was a real pleasure to talk with them.

We are very proud of offering not only one of the few places in this area usable by handicapped ones but fully accessible and studied from the point of view of a disabled person. By definition, there is no answer suitable for every kind of need, but we started making room enough for wheelchairs, and we are available to provide facilities on demand. Its name comes from a funny typo error on a restoration project plan, we found the guest houses labelled "sweets". From then on, our guests' rooms are called "caramelle" (= sweet like candies). To better identify them, during the restoration phase, we named the southeast studio "orange" and the northwest one "green" inspired by a reproduction of an Etruscan colour schema. The house has been the central station of the city spring water system in the past; it's located right under a small hill "poggio al lupo" (the wolf hill) Funny fact: the farm on the other side is named "poggio all'agnello*" (the lamb hill).
The attraction of the sea: the second life at LeCaramelle di Baratti - My story is that of a second life, in which I left work early to pursue my passion: the sea and the Gulf of Baratti. What at first was just an opportunity to host relatives and friends, turned into an exciting discovery of a new world of knowledge, challenges and opportunities LeCaramelle di Baratti: when professionalism meets the passion for hospitality -And it is precisely this world that excites me the most every day. I immediately realized that to play this challenge I needed to grow my skills in hotelerie. And so was born LeCaramelle di Baratti, a holiday home that embodies my guidelines of ethics, professionalism, sustainability, inclusion and respect.
