Palazzo Froussard was the best experience we have ever had staying anywhere. Tobias, Claus and Barbara are the nicest, friendliest and most hospitable people you will ever meet - we felt like we were visiting family. The B&B is spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated, well equipped, the bed was super comfortable, pillows and duvet soft and comfy, location very central and just inside the wall of the city. Tobias recommended restaurants and booked them for us. Nothing was too much bother for him. If you don't stay here you are missing out on a lifetime experience. Tobias knows how to do hospitality at it's best and... he makes the best cappuccino. It's called a B&B but to us it was better than any 5* hotel we have stayed at. We can't wait to return.

The place is spectacular and we couldn't be happier that we chose it. I traveled with my boyfriend and, following the reviews on booking, we decided to choose Palazzo Fousard for our stay. It is charming; the rooms are large, modern, bright, the decoration is divine and they have everything you could need, they are very clean and everything was in perfect condition (just like the rest of the place!). The best of all? Tobias! He took the time to write us multiple recommendations for activities and restaurants in Lucca according to our tastes, was always very attentive, told us the history of the Palazzo (Napoleon had it built for his sister's lover!) and gave us a tour of the entire hotel. He and his mom were very welcoming and special, and we will not hesitate to come back!!! If you are considering it, don't hesitate to choose this place: from the bottom of my heart I know you will love it.
