Located in a private natural reserve, Podere Cerrete is a Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by a beautiful garden and olive grove, with a breathtaking view of evergreen hilltops and the famous Val d'Orca. It is located on the slopes of the Monte Amiata, in a wild and spiritual part of southern Tuscany. The property has been recently renovated. It is equipped with underfloor heating and has an energy rating of A+++. The two-level house has a large master bedroom, one bathroom, a large living room with a work area, and a kitchen/dining room with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The house is spread out over two levels. On the ground floor is a dining room with a well-stocked kitchen and a large living room with a work area. A spiral staircase leads to the second floor with a large bedroom and an on-site bathroom. The outdoor space includes a large garden with an olive grove, outdoor sitting areas, and a fire pit. The following additional services are available (prior reservation required): - Personal Yoga class - Ayurvedic consultation - Massage - Vedic art painting session - Olive oil tasting - Wine tasting
We live in an adjacent house on the land and are happy to recommend local restaurants, nature excursions, and day trips.
The farm is located in a wilder part of Tuscany, at the foothills of Monte Amiata, in a valley filled with olive groves, vineyards as well as plenty of wild land. Two large rivers with several swimming spots flow near buy. Two large towns, as well as several smaller towns are located within a 10 minute drive, enjoying many shops, restaurants and public spaces. Located at the top of Monte Amiata is one of Europe's most intact beech Forests, with many breathtaking hiking trails and in winter a ski resort. The wider area includes several hot pools, medieval towns, and many beautiful beaches on the Tyrrhenian coastline.
