I loved everything about this wonderfully cared for, family run pension. Even though I very awkwardly spoke no German or Italian, the kind hosts went out of their way to make me feel welcome. It is a really beautiful spot, with wonderful views from the little pool, which is plenty big enough to swim and cool off in. There was a beautiful restaurant nearby called Leit Am Waal, a pretty 12 minute or so walk away. I had no car but it is easy to get around with your free Merano card, as there is a bus stop 100m away to take you to the little village centre where there is a supermarket etc., within 10 minutes. You can take the chairlift up the hill (bus stop or a 30 min walk from the hotel) for wonderful views and a drink/snack at the top. It was a beautiful area with lots to do, or you could just rest and relax and sit by the lovely pool overlooking the valley. Thanks to the whole family for a lovely time!
