I am Mr Graham Fielder. I came to Italy in February of 2016 after finding my dream Villa. It had beenmy plan to retire to Italy and run a Bed & Breakfast, so with the support of my family and friends, I left England for good and started anew. The Villa and it's gardens were very rundown and although it had many bedrooms, it had only two bathrooms. The kitchen was outdated with just a cooker and a sink and the windows and doors were falling apart. We have worked tirelessly since then to bring the Villa into the twenty first century including gas central heating and a solar thermal hot water system. The work hasn't always gone as planned. There have been many delays along the way therefor there are one or two areas still to be completed such as the fully equipped gymnasium and outdoor games area. Unfortunately I am not fluent in the Italian language. Please do not be put off by this. So far I have always managed to communicate with the guest one way or another.

Villa 2 Fields is a newly renovated property and we are very proud to also be able to call it our home. The property now has 4 spacious en-suite king size bedrooms, with plenty of storage space and comfy seating. All rooms are on the first floor. We also have a large breakfast room and terrace giving the option for indoor or outdoor dinning. Breakfast is continental in style with much of it being homemade. Our lounge area is accessible to all to relax with a book or magazine, we have a selection available at the villa. We also have some board games. Visitors can help themselves to the free tea and coffee making facilities available in the breakfast room throughout the day. If we've been baking there may even be a biscuit or two. The Villa boasts a large garden where visitors are welcome to rest and relax (if you spot a weed please feel free to pull it up) and enjoy the peace and quiet that the area offers. The only traffic passing the villa consists of the occasional car and a small assortment of farming vehicles. There is free WiFi and free secure on site parking with ample space for everyone. A car is essential a public transport is almost non existent.

Our countryside location is rural but not isolated and therefor benefits from the peace and tranquillity of its natural surrounding and perfect placement for exploring this historic region with easy road access to venture further afield. The Adriatic and Ionian coast are within easy reach and offer sandy beaches and clear blue seas. The local towns are diverse and all have their own uniqueness. It is possible to spend many hours just ambling around the local towns and taking in their age and history. Between coffee and pastries of course. We have found the local people to be so very friendly and always willing to help were they can. A cheery face is always there to great you in cafes, bars and restaurants.
