Welcome home! Mi casa es tu casa! Il Nido is the result of years of slowly decorating and refining the indoor atmosphere for you. The apartment is filled with beautiful paintings from Rossella Rispoli Segato, in an ongoing art exhibition giving the house a pastel tone with views of local landscapes and landmarks, like the famous Mulino Spagnolo (Spanish Windmill) or the fascinating SiToCo abandoned factory. The house is located in a nice ancient building in the historical center of Orbetello. It used to be a monastery during the Spanish colonial era and was later converted into a condominium. Il Nido is on the first floor of the building, very easy to access from the street and even easier to find on the map. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 shared bathroom, 1 cozy living room with 2 couches, a table and a library, as well as a nice small kitchen where you can cook your own meal!

The neighborhood is Orbetello's historic center and yet the house is off the main street so it's not as noisy as living in a flat with its windows on the busiest road in town! So don't worry you're in the right hands, we got you covered ;) Everything is a stone throw away from the apartment: bars, restaurants, cinema, shops, parks, the lake-side, the sea and the mountain! We advice not to access the apartment directly from Via Del Rosso as it is a limited traffic area (ZTL). We recommend accessing it from Via Mura di Ponente or directly by parking along the Lagoon in the dedicated car park. Otherwise you can also find free parking 500 meters from the house outside the Spanish Gates of the town. You can also rent electric, pedal assisted or traditional bicycles at low rates at local bike shops. We look forward to having you here!
