Hi, I'm Giulio! I was born in Lecce and I am a Doctor-Surgeon. In recent years, being away from home for study has allowed me to fully understand the potential of this magnificent Land, Salento, and the riches and wonders that lie within it. I love my Land, Salento, the place where I lived my childhood, the famous "cradle" of seventeenth-century Baroque, where the Sun reflects on the light colors of the Lecce stone that shines with light, creating effects at times surreal. All this warms the mind and the heart. I have always dreamed of publicizing this place: the summer residence of my grandmother Maria, which is why for me it is "Villa Maria," to thank the one who, as a child, taught me to spread free love without asking for anything in return, from whom I well understood respect and care for others. For me hospitality is not a simple word, it means "pampering" the visitor, trying to make him feel at ease, in "his home," even if only for a few days, to relax the body, mind and spirit. I believe that Santa Cesarea Terme succeeds in this.

Symbol of the town is the fairytale nineteenth-century dome of Villa Sticchi, similar to a mosque perched among the rocks, a few steps from the sea, just 15 minutes from Villa Maria. Together with her, immersed in the rock, also stand out Villa Raffaella, Palazzo Tamborrino, overlooking the cliff, and Palazzo Gargasole, now home to the fascinating Clock Museum of the Civic Towers.
