Lots of information provided in advance and detailed photos of how to reach the Villa. A very reasonably priced dinner was provided on the terrace over looking the temples in all their glory. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and we had a fabulous view both at night and during the day of the Valley of the Temples archaeological site from the main eating area where we had our breakfasts and dinner one night. A truly exceptional place to stay at.

A welcoming oasis with lovely dogs, passionate and caring hosts and the best breakfast in Sicily. This is a quirky place with animals and birds around the place but filled with care and attention for guests. In addition to your room there are lovely spaces to sit outside in a beautiful garden as well as shared rooms for guest use. the family are welcoming and Salvatore sorts out directions to the Villa, can direct you anyway, takes care of guests and loves his town, and his enthusiasm is infectious. The family make breakfast and even arranged ours early as we were travelling the next dad. The father welcomed us at breakfast and we ate jam made from fruit and flowers grown at the Villa, as well home made yoghurt (delicious) and omlettes. You feel part of the family.

Wow, what an awesome place to stay! The location is perfect, rural but very easy to get to the Valley of Temples and Agrigento. Our hosts were such amazing people, really passionate about providing excellent service for their guests. They have 3 lovely dogs and a host of other animals. The room was very clean and comfortable and shared a kitchen area with one other room. The facilities in both were perfect for our stay. Breakfast was fantastic, everything was homemade and tasted delicious! Would definitely recommend!

The pictures and description certainly don’t do it justice. The property is amazing and the hosts were so incredibly kind and welcoming that it felt like coming home. The meal was fantastic and it has lovely views of the valley of temples. I would most certainly look to go back, but for much longer this time.

Villa Sara is a stand-alone, rustic, farm property. So, parking was on site 10 meters from our room, our room was ground floor, and all of the common areas were at ground level too. Our room had a kitchen shared with one other room, so you could self cater if you are so inclined. There is a swimming pool for a refreshing dip on a hot day, and a clothes line out back if you want to do a hand wash. Breakfast was served at your table on the common terrace with a variety of items. It is family run, they are multi-lingual, and very welcoming. A dinner was on offer to all guests on one of the two evenings that we stayed. Villa Sara has a great view of the Agrigento temples from all parts of the property.
