An unusual experience but a good one. A late checkout of 300 yen per hour is a really good deal! The capsule itself was comfortable and spacious, and there's sufficient privacy if you get a premium capsule space. There's zero sound insulation from other capsules and corridor noise, but people are very respectful of keeping things quiet. I didn't have time to check out the spa/sauna facilities as I woke up a bit later than expected (was in Dotonbori, after all...) but no real complaints about it.

The sauna is definitely a plus even though there isn't one for women. The premium capsules are really comfortable and spacious even though poorly insulated to outside noise.

Visit during weekdays, staff were kind. Really liked how we still get small separate rooms for each. Facility was well cleaned and was easy to understand how it works. Also great location, was easy to find from Namba station. (noise from other capsules are to be expected, but I guess that’s just what I should expect from staying in capsule-not sure if this fits in “didn’t like” category.)

The capsule, bathroom and spa/sauna were clean. The staff were very helpful even with the language barrier. Location was excellent, only a 2min walk to Dotonbori.

I love my stay at Grand Sauna. It is easy to locate and near many restaurants and convenience stores. The place is quiet and very relaxing to spend a night there. The staff are friendly and accommodating to our needs. I appreciate that they allowed us to leave our luggages while we are waiting for our time to check-in.

Amazing to use the sauna whenever we wanted and hang out in the manga cafe. Quiet rooms even though it was a capsule hotel. The pyjamas they give are very comfortable and it's easy to sleep after using the sauna and sento upstairs. It's a bit anonymous with so many guys going around minding their own business, but I liked the communal element and enjoyed the experience. My friend got food from the restaurant and said it was good as well. There was even a Super Famicom in the manga cafe! Our favourite area of Osaka on the trip was Namba so the location was perfect. We even came back after checking out just to use the sauna after a night out at around 2am 😅 We wished we had booked it for a couple more nights!
