Staff was so kind. Greeted us on the hill with umbrellas. In room onsen was lovely if not a little too hot.

The minute you get there, the hospitality is a+. The staff was exceptional, taking our luggage, bringing us our meals, giving us a tour and being there if we needed anything. It was the best service we’ve had. They even gave us umbrellas for our 30 second walk to their car and when I closed mine too early, the staff immediately put her umbrella over me (I’m so sorry about that and thank you so much!) The room and private onsen were everything we dreamed - the scenery was so beautiful and serene, and the onsen our room was clean and healing. Amazing stay, wish we were there longer!

Lovely traditional guesthouse. The staff were wonderful from first greeting to departure. On arrival we were offered a beverage whilst looking at the view then checking in. After choosing a kimono for our stay we were shown the facilities and then our room, which we didn’t leave until checkout as we had a private onsen and all meals served in the room. The dinner was served by a lovely woman who explained each dish and retreated after serving each course (I think 11 in total). Very courteous and respectful, we felt we were treated as esteemed guests. Seafood and vegetable based meal, traditional Japanese cuisine, wonderful, bring a good appetite. Breakfast followed a similar theme. Beds comfortable and private onsen just right. Thank you!!

The hotel and its facilities were amazing. From the moment you walk in, it's a premium experience. The staff speak great English, are super kind and friendly, and will offer their help with any issue you have. Both the private onsen and the public one were excellent and had lovely calm views. The rooms are clean, the air conditioning is quick, and the food was delicious and unlike anything else we had. I honestly regret not staying two nights!

6-stars Ryokan service. The Ryokan itself is beautifully located on the top of a little hill, only 100 meters far by walk from MotoHakone where you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Mt Fuji reflecting on the lake Ashi ( especially in the morning, follow the path to the "observatory point 800 meters far from the hotel, on the left). The dinner and breakfast have been beyond perfection. The onsens inside the hotel are great too even if we booked the room with the private onsen that we highly recommend. Rooms are beautiful. Everything was perfect and the overall experience war sensesional and really worth the price.
