Hotel is just 2-3 minutes walk from bus stop with nice private onsen. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent and delicious.

Everything, the dinner and breakfast was probably the best Ryokan food I ever had (and I had many). The location was so close to everything, especially the bus station, and on the way we could always say hello to Taro-kun, the village shiba. It was also really nice to be able to enjoy the private onsen with my partner. I think the owners should also update the booking.com profile and add photos of the onsen and food as it would be beneficial, I have booked this based on the great reviews on both Google and Booking.com, but some people may pass on this lovely ryokan due to lack of photos.

Location is perfectly close to Hirayu bus station. Very large room compared to other facility in Japan. Private onsen available if noone is using. Great services including abundant Japanese breakfast. Besides hotel onsen, you also get free voucher to use public onsen near by, which usually costs 700 yen per person. It is a hotel where the owner takes good care of and pays attention to details. Good restaurants near by in case you want to have more options

There was a lot to like about Oyado Eitaro. The location is very convenient - only a five (maybe less) minute walk from the bus center. We dropped off our luggage before checking in and later found the bags in our room. The dinner was a wonderful experience and was probably some of the best food we had on our trip. It was a great way to try many different dishes, all of them well prepared. Breakfast was a similar experience. Both the public and private onsens were very relaxing and very clean. Overall an amazing experience. If we ever come back to the area, we’ll be looking to rebook Oyado Eitaro.

Me encantó. Fueron súper amables. La cena y el desayuno están incluidos y son tipo “Kaiseki”. No paran de sacarte platitos como de alta cocina japonesa, cuidando los detalles. Real Japan. Duermes en tatami con el futon. Es muy cómodo. Hay onsen público y privado (2). No hay problema con los tatuajes. Está al lado de la estación de bus y de los baños termales públicos grandes (Hirayu no Mori) y en la recepción te dan un ticket para entrar gratis. En la habitación tienes ropa japonesa (Yukata). Por último, me dejé unas tazas allí, contacté con el hotel y me las enviaron a mi próximo hotel en Tokio.

跟妹妹的小旅行我們訂了雙人房加早晚餐，抵達時老闆娘非常熱心的帶我們認識所有設施及規範，還附上平湯之森的泡湯卷，那邊的露天溫泉加上雪景真的是非常棒。 餐點部分，不論是早餐還是晚餐都讓我們十分驚艷，而且份量都相當足夠，強烈建議都先預訂。 民宿內的溫泉有大眾跟私人兩種，都不需額外付費，而且也沒有限制刺青者，淡淡的溫泉味道，洗完非常舒服。 最後房間部分，一開始因為訂房網站上的照片比較少我們有點緊張，但現場開門的剎那就放心了，床鋪都是先鋪好，也有可以聊天、吃點心的茶几，想看窗外美景也都有專屬的區域，整體住起來非常舒適，有機會去平湯還會想再訂。

One stop shop to get an introduction to top class Hida cuisine. From the A5 wagyu to the soba, everything was perfectly served. The room and onsen gave a very traditional Japanese feel and we enjoyed it very very much.
