Amazing views and warm wooden feel. Close to Karasawa chairlift, close to town and only 50 Meters to the nearest public Onsen. Best insulated and eco construction in the village. With it’s amazing views and warm wooden feel, Tamanegi is a unique property. It is actually a duplex style, set up with 2 x 2 bedroom apartments. Both apartments have a 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen. Please note: You will take over one of the 2 bedroom apartments and not the whole house. Lower Apartment Bottom room has 2 singles beds, lower roof, good for kids with a big kids room too Can possibly put more kids on the lower right side too. Second bedroom has a nice big Double bed on the entrance level Or Upstairs Apartment Master – Built in bed Queen Second bedroom has 2 single raised futons. Both apartments have their own bathroom. There is a drying room at the entry. It’s just 200m to the lifts in winter, and a flat 600m walk to all the restaurants and shops. We are happy to offer drop offs to the ski lift whenever we have time. The Nakao Onsen, one of 13 free public bathhouses in Nozawa, is just 50m from the door – perfect for a long soak after a big day on the slopes or a long mountain
We are a family of 4 living in Nozawa Onsen for over 10 years now. Kyoko and Gab have travelled the world on their push bikes for 2 years before settling in the little mountain town Nozawa Onsen. We have 2 little kids Akari and Luca. They are most happy to welcome guests from all over the world as much as their parents do. Nozawa is a unique town and we are sure you will fall in love too with the friendly locals, great nature, natural Onsen and of course the best powder you can find in all of Japan.
Tamanegi House is located less than a minute from the Nakao Onsen offering a traditional Japanese hot spring bath. It's also a short 5-minute walk to the chairlift and 10 minutes to the town centre for bars and restaurants. You will love the local feel and running water that flows around our property. Nozawa Onsen offers a lot of outdoor activities. Great with kids too at any time of the year. You can cool down Great Lakes and rivers in summer, the SpArena outdoor pool, downhill Mountain Biking, Hiking, SUP on the nearby Hokuryuko lake, or a great hike to the Kosuge Shrine on top of one of the nearby hills.
